Hi girls. Can you believe it’s the last week of the school year? What a strange few months we have just had. I can’t wait to see you all again in September. Well done with all of your hard work. Missing you all. Have a wonderful summer and a well deserved rest!

  • This week I have selected a reading task from a website called Oxfordowl.co.uk.
  • This is a fantastic website with lots of free eBooks that you can read online over the summer.
  • You may need to ask a parent to register their email with the website.
  •  I have selected two stories for you to read.

–     1: ‘Fun at Night’

–       https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/api/interactives/29280.html

–       This story is a fact book about animals that come out at night-time.

–       2: ‘The Gale’

–       https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk/api/digital_books/1405.html

–       This story reminds me of a typical holiday in Ireland. You need to always be prepared for the weather to change!

*There are two activities with this book. Give them a go!

–       If you can, I would love to hear you reading. Upload a recording of your reading onto Seesaw.

–       Have a wonderful summer and see you all soon!
