Junior Entrepreneur Programme

Ms Shine’s 5th Class are continuing to take part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme. We had a Business Visit from our very own entrepreneur, Mr Maguire. We had a Q&A session with Mr Maguire and discovered some of the opportunities and challenges in running a business. 

Cross Country Event

Girls in the Senior classes represented Scoil Bhríde Cailíní in a Cross Country event in Porterstown last week. All the girls were very enthusiastic which was fantastic to see. A Special mention to Julia who came second in her race and Maya who came fourth. Well done girls.

Houses in 4th Class

The girls in Ms.Lynam’s 4th class have been learning all about houses and homes. They learned about the different houses in History and also practiced how to talk about their houses as Gaeilge. They also got the chance to make different houses using recyclable materials in Art. Here are some pictures showing their great work.

Authors in 4th Class

The girls in Ms.Lynam’s 4th Class have been working very hard on writing and creating their own short stories.  They were rewarded with a publishing party, where they got the chance to celebrate publishing their own stories and got the opportunity to read their classmates’ stories. These ladies are future authors in the making!

Phoenix FM Quiz

5th Class Artwork

Ms Shine’s 5th Class have been busy artists. They created animals of their choice using tangrams for Maths week. They were learning about Chinese New Year and the Willow pattern. They designed willow pattern inspired vases. Each different vase shape has a different meaning.

EBS Science Blast in 4th Class

Teacher for the Day
