Return to School Letter and Information

Welcome Back to a new school year!

Dear Parents & Guardians,

I hope you and your families had a relaxing summer break and that you are continuing to keep safe and well. I am looking forward to welcoming you and your daughter back on 1st September, to another year in Scoil Bhríde Cailíní. I would like, in particular, to extend a very warm welcome to our new Junior Infant girls and their families and to wish them well as they start their educational journey in SBC. We hope that it will be an exciting and enjoyable journey for them.

I would like to thank you for all your support and cooperation last year in helping to ensure the safe and smooth running of the school, during these difficult Covid times. The safety of the entire school community will remain a priority this year and we are therefore asking again for your support with the existing measures in place and with any additional measures deemed necessary. This will enable the vital work of teaching and learning to proceed with as little disruption as possible. The BOM has a Covid-19 Policy Statement, Risk Assessment and a Covid-19 Response Plan in place but the success of their implementation depends entirely on a committed and on-going partnership between home and school.

We will continue to have our staggered start and finish times in place this year. As your daughter has now changed class, her entrance and exit route may have changed from last year. It is essential therefore that you check the tables below for exact details.

Thank you in advance for all your help and support in implementing these measures and I look forward to seeing you all back again in Scoil Bhríde Cailíní on September 1st.

Le meas,

Paula Dargan
