Dear Parent / Guardian 

 

 

The BoM and School Staff are looking forward to welcoming all our pupils and parents / guardians back to school for the 2020/2021 school year on Monday next, 31st August. 

 

We are satisfied that we have control measures in place to ensure that this will be a safe re-opening.  It will take some time for all of us to get used to the new circumstances as we become familiar with the new routines and procedures designed to keep everyone safe and to prevent the spread of     Covid-19. There will, undoubtedly, be some unforeseen challenges and we will deal with these as they arise. 

 

We would like to thank you for your co-operation in our preparations to date and look forward to working with you as we assist the children adapt to the necessary changes.  We know that they are looking forward to coming back to school to meet their friends again.  We are aware also  that our new Junior Infant pupils are beginning their school life at a challenging time and so we have made separate arrangements and introduction videos for them, to ensure that their start in Scoil Bhríde Cailíní will be as enjoyable and stress free as possible .  

 

As we put the final touches to our preparations, we remind you again that the success of our re-opening depends on the co-operation and support of the entire school community. Please be mindful therefore of the following important points: 

 

  • You should only arrive at the school at the designated arrival/collection time for your daughter(s). 
  • Walk to school if possible. No parking will be permitted within the one-way system or in set down only areas. 
  • Children/adults who have returned home after travelling abroad to countries not on the ‘Green List’ must self-isolate for a period of 14 days.
