FOURTH CLASS GIRLS SHOW THEIR RESPECT FOR ALL

The girls in Mr. Maguire’s 4th class were due to take part in a soccer blitz which was organised by the FAI (Football Association of Ireland). However, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, this blitz was cancelled, replaced instead by a virtual competition. For this, the girls in the class played a few matches amongst themselves on the school astro. They also created a large poster together, centred around the theme of ‘Respect for all’. They all drew and coloured their own flag and then wrote ‘respect’ in 22 different languages – a different language for each girl in the class. They all thoroughly enjoyed the soccer matches and the art.
