Tree Day in Ms Meenagh’s Class

The girls in Ms. Meenagh’s class have been learning about trees as part of Tree Day 2021. We learned about deciduous and evergreen trees, the lifecycle of an oak tree and learned a poem called Autumn Leaves.

We were given a Wild Cherry tree as part of Tree Day and we planted this with Dónal our caretaker. Here are some photos of our tree planting!
