Games in Junior Infants

Junior and Senior Infants,  First and Second Classes have been taking part in coaching sessions with students from TU Dublin, Blanchardstown Campus. The students are studying for a BA in Sports Management and Coaching.

They have been leading weekly sessions where the girls have been practising their fundamental movements skills while taking part in fun activities and sports.

In these photos you can see them play a throwing game, Soccer, Field Hockey and Olympic Handball. They are practising the skills of throwing, catching, running, dodging, kicking and striking with an implement. And of course, they are having lots of fun!

Junior Infants were playing “Rob the Nest” in PE class. This is a game where they work in teams and practise running, stopping and rolling balls. They are great at team work!
